Delhi Metro schedule has changed from today, one metro will be available every 35 minutes

Delhi Metro said in a social media post that this will affect the metro trains running between Kashmiri Gate and Central Secretariat, while the first trains from Samaypur Badli and University will run on time.

Delhi Metro Timings: An important update has come for those who travel by Delhi Metro every day. If you are also going to catch the metro from the Yellow Line on Saturday, then know that there may be some change in the timing of the metro tomorrow. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an important information stating that metro services will not run regularly on the Kashmiri Gate to Central Secretariat section of the Yellow Line on the morning of 17 May (Saturday). This change in the schedule is being made due to maintenance work.

Metro train will run every 35 minutes

DMRC posted on X (formerly Twitter) that till 6:25 am, the metro will run on this section at an interval of 35 minutes. However, there is no change in the timing of the first metro from the terminal stations of the Yellow Line – Millennium City Centre Gurugram and Samaypur Badli.

Which stations will be affected?

Delhi Metro said in a social media post that this will affect the metro trains running between Kashmiri Gate and Central Secretariat, while the first trains from Samaypur Badli and Vishwavidyalaya will run on time. Apart from this, services will remain normal at other Yellow Line stations.

DMRC also informed that the first metro train from Central Secretariat to Samaypur Badli will now depart at 05:55 am, instead of 05:45 am earlier.

DMRC has advised passengers that if you are traveling from stations like Kashmiri Gate, Central Secretariat or Mandi House, then choose Violet Line as an option. Apart from this, they should plan their journey in advance so that any inconvenience can be avoided.
