Diwali Bonus: The government has given railway employees good news during Navratri. Railway employees will receive a performance-based bonus in their September salaries. The government announced the Diwali bonus today after the cabinet meeting.
This bonus is linked to employees’ productivity. In addition to railway employees, central government employees also receive a festival bonus before Diwali.
Railway employees will get bonus
This bonus will be given by the government to non-gazetted employees. The purpose of the bonus is to recognize the employees’ contributions to increasing the railway’s capacity. Last year, approximately 1.1 million employees were given this bonus, which not only boosted their morale but also increased shopping across the country during Diwali.
