STA-B (Senior Technical Assistant-B): 561 posts. This is the big one.

Eligibility Snapshot: You need a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a Diploma in Engineering/Technology in a relevant field.

Pay Scale: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level 6).

Technician-A: 203 posts.

Eligibility Snapshot: You need a 10th Pass plus an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.

The Selection Gauntlet
The selection process is a standard two-tier filter:

Tier-1: A Computer-Based Test (CBT). This is a screening test.

Tier-2: This depends on the post. STA-B usually involves another CBT, while Technician-A requires a Skill, Practical, or Trade Test.

Age Limit: Must be between 18 and 28 years old. Standard relaxations apply for reserved categories.
