- First of all visit the official National Voters Service Portal https://www.nvsp.in.
- Now login to the National Voters Service Portal website by entering mobile number, email, password and captcha code.
- If you are a new user, then sign up. For this, after entering your mobile number, email, and captcha code, proceed further.
- Click on ‘Request OTP’ to receive ‘One Time Password’ on your provided mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received on the mobile number. After this a new page will open.
- Here, to update or change your mobile number in the voter card, you have to go to the homepage and click on Form 8.
- After this, select ‘Self’ and click on ‘Submit’ button. Or select other and fill epic and go to submit
- You will see voter details on the next screen then click on OK.
- After this, select the correction option given at number two
- Now Form 8 will open in front of you, enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number or email in it and click on NEXT.
- Here you fill the place, along with this enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Send OTP’ button.
- After this, enter the OTP received on your mobile number and after previewing the details of the form once, click on ‘Submit’.
- After about 48 hours, your mobile number will be linked to your voter ID card.
