IMD Issue Alert! Heatwave wreaks havoc in February itself, so it will rain in these states for two days; Know the latest weather condition

Heatwave Alert: The temperature is increasing continuously in many states including the national capital Delhi. In states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, the maximum temperature has reached near 40 degrees.

In such a situation, the heat of summer has started being felt in February itself. The Meteorological Department has said that for the next two days, heatwave will be observed at isolated places in the Kutch region of Gujarat and the coastal areas of Konkan. However, there are still many states, where the rainy season continues. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in the hill states for two days.

How was the weather of the last 24 hours

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in some parts of Gujarat and southwest Rajasthan was recorded between 37-39 degree Celsius. Apart from this, the maximum temperature in the Konkan region also remained in between. Whereas, most parts of Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand recorded maximum temperature between 26-29 degree Celsius, which is 6-11 degree Celsius above normal. Apart from this, very light rains were recorded over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal and Sikkim and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, dense to very dense fog remained in Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh.

Due to Western Disturbance, it will rain in these states for two days

Due to Western Disturbance in the western Himalayan regions, the weather is going to be affected. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in some places in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh for the next two days. Apart from this, there will be light to moderate rains on February 20. There will be less rain and snowfall on February 21, whereas from February 22 the weather will become dry in these areas.

There is a rain alert in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana as well , there is a possibility of light rain in some places in Uttarakhand, Punjab on February 20-21. Drizzle can be seen in the areas of North Haryana on 21 February.

Coming to Northeast India, rains are likely to increase over Arunachal Pradesh from tomorrow. Light to moderate rain will occur at many places on February 21-22. In Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, there is a possibility of light rain and drizzle at isolated places for the next five days.
