IMD new update: After the arrival of monsoon in Jharkhand, it rained in many parts of the state including Santhal. Massanjore in Dumka received maximum rainfall of 73.0 mm. Apart from this, light to moderate rain occurred at many places including the capital and light rain in some parts.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is expected to cover the entire Jharkhand during the next four days in the state. Monsoon-friendly weather is changing over the entire state. According to the Meteorological Department, before the arrival of monsoon, an alert has been issued for thunderstorms along with thunderstorms in many parts of the state. Despite rains in Medininagar, there is a possibility of outbreak of heat wave in some areas on June 21.

It rained in these areas

73.0 mm in Dumka, Jagannathpur 40.4, Khunti 35.5, Ranchi’s Ormanjhi 32.6, Kolebira 25.0. Light rain occurred over most parts of the state, including Chakradharpur 17.2, Medininagar 11.6, Bokaro 4.5.

Rapidly falling temperature in the state

Due to the arrival of monsoon, there is a rapid drop in temperature in Jharkhand. The state recorded a drop of up to six degrees in both the maximum and minimum temperature. In the last 24 hours, the temperature of Medininagar was the highest at 42.2. Whereas Chaibasa’s minimum temperature of 23.6 degrees was the lowest in the state.

Monsoon turf passing through Dumka

According to the Meteorological Department, the Northern Limit of Monsoon is passing through the country’s Ratnagiri, Raichur, Kavli, Kaning, Sriniketan, Dumka. Due to favorable conditions in the remaining parts of the state, it is expected to persist over Jharkhand during the next four days.

Monsoon will enter the state like this

On 19th June – has entered all the districts of Santal Parganas.
From 21 to 22 – in the areas of North and South Chhotanagpur and Kolhan divisions.
Till June 23 – in Palamu and rest of the state.
