Mumbai-Delhi Expressway Toll Rates: On February 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the 1,386-km Delhi-Mumbai Mega Expressway. The first phase of the expressway is between Delhi and Jaipur.

Delhi Mumbai Expressway is the longest expressway in India. This will reduce the travel distance between Delhi and Mumbai from 1,424 km to 1,242 km. The travel time will be halved. Till now it takes 24 hours to travel between the two cities by car, which will be reduced to only 12 hours after the opening of this expressway. This expressway connects 6 states Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The main cities include names like Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara and Surat.

How much toll tax will have to be paid

Now that such a tremendous road will be available, then it is obvious that toll tax will have to be paid. Please tell that Khalilpur is about 20 kilometers away from the starting point of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. To travel till here, a toll tax of Rs 90 will have to be paid while traveling by light vehicle. According to a Mint report, this rate for light commercial vehicles will be Rs 145.

If someone goes to Barkapara, he will have to pay a toll tax of Rs 500 while traveling in a light vehicle, while the toll tax for light commercial vehicles will be Rs 805. Apart from Khalilpur and Barkapara, toll gates will also be found in Samsabad, Sheetal, Pinan, and Dungarpur. If a 7 axle vehicle goes from the entry point to Barkapara, then it will have to pay toll tax of Rs 3,215. Vehicles entering from Sohna side will have to pay this toll as soon as they alight at Khalilpur Loop located in Western Peripheral.

Speed ​​of 120 km per hour

Let us tell you that the top speed limit on this expressway has been legally set at 120 km per hour. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway has 40 interchanges, which will better connect the cities of Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat.

The Sohna-Dausa strait is 160 km in Haryana and will pass through Gurugram, Palwal and Nuh districts. In this, 11 villages of Gurugram, 7 of Palwal, and 47 villages of Nuh district will be covered. This entire project is being built at an estimated cost of Rs 98,000 crore.
