New Aadhaar App: No More Physical Cards Needed

Privacy is the main focus of this new update. However, many people worry about data leaks. To fix this, the app uses a “selective sharing” feature. This means you choose exactly what info to show. For instance, if a hotel asks for your ID, you can share just your name and photo. You can hide your Aadhaar number and home address. So, third parties cannot collect more data than they actually need.

The app is also very useful for households. Additionally, you can manage up to five different Aadhaar profiles on one single phone. This makes it a great “One Family, One App” tool.
