New Vande Bharat Express: Kerala is going to get its first and the country’s 15th Vande Bharat Express train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off this train on 25 April. So far 14 Vande Bharat Express have been run in the country and Kerala was waiting for this for a long time.

This train will run between Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur. Its trial has also started on Monday. Railway officials say that its schedule will be announced only after the trial run. According to sources, this train will complete the journey of 510 km in seven hours. Considering the track condition in Kerala, its speed will be 110 kmph. By the way, this train can run at a speed of 160 kmph. According to sources, the train will have stoppages at Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Tirur and Kozhikode.

Currently 14 Vande Bharat Express are running in the country. The first Vande Bharat Express was run on the Delhi-Varanasi route on February 15, 2019. The second such train was started between Delhi to Katra. The first Vande Bharat Express of the new era was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Right now maximum five Vande Bharat Express are being run from Delhi. Three Vande Bharat Express are running from Mumbai. Two Vande Bharat Express are being run from Hyderabad. After all, Kerala is also going to get the first Vande Bharat Express.

These states did not get Vande Bharat

However, many states of the country are still waiting for the first Vande Bharat Express. These include Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, North-East, Odisha and Uttarakhand. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have got their first Vande Bharat Express recently.

Railway plans to run 75 Vande Bharat Express on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Right now this train is being run on Shatabdi route. But further there is a plan to run it on the capital route. For this, sleeper coaches will be made in Vande Bharat.
