NIC has launched a new facility through which birth, death and marriage certificates can now be obtained in PDF format on mobile from home. This service is free and you will have to visit the office only at the time of application.
Now there will be no need to go to government offices to get documents like birth or death certificate and marriage registration certificate. They will get these documents on their mobile with just one click without going anywhere. National Informatics Centre (NIC) has started this new facility to provide relief to the common people. According to this new change, the common people will get birth and death certificate and marriage registration certificate in PDF form on their mobile phone while sitting at home. In such a situation, now people will have to go to the office at the time of application.
Not a single rupee will be spent.
According to this new change of NIC, while applying in the office, the person will have to register the WhatsApp mobile number. After the certificate is created, a link will be sent to the registration number and the certificate will be downloaded as soon as it is opened. Apart from this, you can also download the certificate through the department’s identity app.
Another advantage for the common people is that not a single rupee will be spent in this entire process. People will also save money by getting birth, death and marriage certificates on mobile. Currently, Rs 50 is charged to get a copy of a birth or death certificate. While the cost of a marriage certificate is Rs 110 to 200. This money will be saved by getting the certificate on mobile.
This will be the process
Apart from this, with this new facility, people will get the certificates quickly. Now with the advent of the online system, people will not have to go around and will get the certificates on time and this entire process is free. First of all, the person will have to go to his nearest Sub Registrar Office (Birth-Death) and fill the application form.
While filling the form you will have to enter your mobile number. The process will start as soon as the form is submitted. A link will be sent to the registered mobile number along with the digital signature. The certificate can be downloaded as soon as this link is opened.
