Rajasthan LDC Recruitment 2026: 10,644 Vacancies Announced

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially released the notification for one of the largest recruitment drives in the state for 2026. This mega-recruitment aims to fill 10,644 vacancies for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Clerk Grade-II, and Junior Assistant.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this recruitment, candidates must meet the educational, professional, and age requirements:

  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.

  • Mandatory Exam: Qualification in the Rajasthan CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2024 is compulsory.

  • Computer Qualification: Candidates must possess a valid computer certificate. Accepted qualifications include:

    • RS-CIT (Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology)

    • DOEACC/NIELIT “O” Level or higher

    • COPA/DPCS certificate

    • 12th Grade with Computer Science as a subject

  • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (as of January 1, 2027).

    • Note: Due to no recruitment in recent years, an additional 3-year age relaxation is often provided to all categories, plus standard category-wise relaxations (5–10 years).

3. Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection is a rigorous two-phase process designed to test both academic knowledge and practical clerical skills.

Phase 1: Written Examination

The written test consists of two objective-type papers. Candidates face negative marking (typically 1/3 mark) for every wrong answer.

Phase 2: Typing & Efficiency Test

Candidates who clear the written exam cutoff will be called for the skill test:

  • Hindi Typing: 10 mins (25 Marks Speed + 25 Marks Efficiency)

  • English Typing: 10 mins (25 Marks Speed + 25 Marks Efficiency)


4. Salary & Pay Matrix

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level-5 or Level-8 depending on the specific department. During the 2-year probation period, candidates receive a fixed monthly remuneration. Post-probation, the salary includes basic pay plus DA, HRA, and other state government allowances.

5. How to Apply via SSO Portal

Applications are accepted online only through the Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) system.

  1. Login/Register: Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in using your SSO ID.

  2. OTR (One Time Registration): If not already done, complete your OTR and pay the one-time fee (₹600 for General/OBC, ₹400 for reserved categories).

  3. Application: Search for “LDC Recruitment 2026” under the “Recruitment Portal” section.

  4. CET Details: You must enter your CET (Senior Secondary) 2024 Application Number to proceed.

  5. Submit: Fill in personal details, upload documents (photo/signature), and submit.
