Sahara Refund: Govt has refunded ₹241 cr to 2.5 lakh investors of Sahara cooperatives

Sahara Refund: If your money is also stuck in Sahara funds then there is good news for you. Sahara investors have started getting their stuck money back. The Central Government had started the Sahara Refund Portal to get back the funds of investors trapped in Sahara. Now the investors who applied through this portal have started getting their money back.

2.5 lakh investors got their money back

Investors of Sahara Group have started getting their stuck money back. Giving information about this, Home Minister Amit Shah himself said that till now about 2.5 lakh small investors have got back Rs 241 crore. The work which was started through Sahara Refund Portal, now refunds have started through the same.

Registration of 1.5 crore people

So far, 1.5 crore people have registered through Sahara Refund Portal. Last year, Amit Shah had launched the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal. Deposit holders who have applied through this portal are being given their refund in installments. If you have not applied yet, then apply immediately and get back the money stuck in Sahara fund.

How to apply 

  • Go to CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal
  • Get registered by visiting  CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal ( https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/Depositor/Register ).
  • Fill the OTP by entering the last four numbers of Aadhaar and your mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
  • After this you will get the form, download it
  • After downloading the offline form, it will have to be filled, scanned and uploaded again on the portal.
  • Membership number of investment in Sahara will have to be given.
  • After checking the details given by you, your money will be sent to your bank account in 45 days.
