These women do not have saheli smart card
At present, women in Delhi need to have a pink slip to travel free in buses. Women who do not have a pink slip are fined. But now if women want to travel free in Delhi’s DTC buses, they will have to buy a smart card. The name of this card is Saheli Smart Card. Saheli smart cards will be made for only those women who fulfil these eligibility criteria. Let us tell you that Saheli smart cards will not be made for those women who do not have Aadhaar cards with Delhi address. Apart from this, even if a woman is living in Delhi, but if she does not have a permanent address proof, then her Saheli smart card will not be made.
How can you apply for this?
Let us tell you that the women who are eligible to get a Saheli smart card will have to register on the official portal of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) https://dtc.delhi.gov.in/ . Here, the bank from which they want to get the card will have to be selected.
After this, you will have to go to the bank and complete the KYC process with the Aadhar card. After this, the Saheli smart card will be sent to the home address by the bank. After receiving the card, it will have to be activated. Which will be done through the Automatic Fare Collection System of the DTC facility.
