The “Experience” Hurdle
Unlike most bank jobs, this isn’t for freshers. SBI is specifically hunting for “experienced” talent. You must have at least two years of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank (as of December 31, 2025).
-
Crucial Note: If you work for a private bank, you must prove a gross annual salary of at least ₹9.50 lakh.
-
The Job Profile: You’ll need a certified job profile from your current employer. If your current duties don’t align with what SBI expects from a Scale-I officer, they will reject your application instantly.
Age and Education Limits
-
Age: You must be between 21 and 30 years old (as of Dec 31, 2025).
-
Degree: Any graduation works—Engineering, Medical, or even CA/CWA.
-
Language: You must be fluent in the local language of the “Circle” you apply for. If you didn’t study that language in 10th or 12th grade, you’ll have to pass a proficiency test before joining.
