7th Pay Commission : Central employees who have been eagerly waiting for 18 months’ DA arrears for a long time are going to get a shock. Before the budget, the government had received 2 proposals regarding giving DA arrears.

Actually, during the time of Corona, the government did not increase Dearness Allowance (DA) from January 2020 to June 2021. Employees have been waiting for these 18 months’ DA arrears for a long time. The outstanding arrears of 18 months have not been received yet. Now the government has said this on the second DA arrears.

What is DA arrears of 18 months?

The central government used to increase the DA of central employees twice a year in January and July, but during the time of Covid, the government did not increase any dearness allowance from January 2020 to June 2021. After this, the government increased the dearness allowance by 11 percent directly on 1 July 2021. Then the dearness allowance was 17 percent, which was increased by 11 percent to 28 percent.

Also Read: Weather Alert: IMD issues alert for heavy rain in these districts- know details here

After this, DA increased from 17 percent to 28 percent. However, in the meantime, the government did not say anything about the dearness allowance from January 2020 to June 30. Since then, central employees are expecting to get this 18 months DA arrears from the government. Now once again the government has refused to give it.

What did the government say on 18 months’ DA arrears ?

Government employees were hoping that the government would give 18 months’ DA arrears when the condition of the economy improves but it does not seem so. In fact, once again two members in Parliament asked the government about the 18 months’ arrears of central employees. In response to this, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that many applications and proposals came regarding giving 18 months’ dearness allowance and dearness relief to central government employees and pensioners but the government has no intention of giving it. The government is not considering giving 18 months’ DA arrears and DA relief (Dearness Relief – DR).

The post DA arrears Latest Update: Government said this on 18 months DA arrears, check full details first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

7th Pay Commission: The budget is going to be presented today on February 1, 2023. Government employees will be sitting keeping an eye on the budget from tomorrow morning itself. Government employees of the central government have the highest expectations from Budget 2023 .

Will Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman make these three announcements for government employees in the budget today? In the budget, the Finance Minister will announce to give DA arrears of 18 months. Along with this, to increase the salary, the Finance Minister will announce to increase the fitment factor in the budget. With the completion of these three demands, there will be a significant increase in the salary of government employees.

Received 18 months DA arrears

At the time of Kovid, the government did not give DA arrears of 18 months. The government did not increase DA for 18 months from January 2020 to June 2021. The government had frozen it. After this, the government had directly increased the DA by 11 percent on July 1, 2021, but did not say anything about not increasing or increasing DA for 18 months. The employees are expecting that the government will give DA of 18 months in the budget.

Government will increase the fitment factor

Central government employees have been demanding for a long time an increase in the fitment factor linked to salary hike. Government employees are demanding the government to increase the fitment factor from 2.57 percent to 3.68 percent. If the government accepts this demand, the minimum basic salary of the employees will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000. That is, the minimum salary will directly increase by Rs 8,000.

Government may increase dearness allowance

The government increases Dearness Allowance (DA) twice a year on January 1 and July 1. This time the employees are expecting that the government will increase the DA along with the budget. At the end of September last year, the government had increased the dearness allowance by 4 per cent to 38 per cent. This time it is expected that the government can increase the DA by 3 to 4 percent. If this happens, DA will increase to between 41 to 42 percent and there will be a big increase in salary.

DA Arrears Latest News: There is great news for the Central Government Employees. If you too are waiting for your 18 months’ stalled arrears (18 months da arrears), then a big update has come out on this.

Central employees and lakhs of pensioners (7th Pay Commission) hope that the government can give the gift of 18 months DA Arrear stopped during the Corona epidemic in the new year. After the budget this year, the government can release this money in the account of the employees.

Letter written to Cabinet Secretary, National Council Secretary (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra has written a letter to the Cabinet Secretary regarding this, stating that the Supreme Court had said that the DA of the employees was being stopped due to the economic crisis. But when the conditions improve, this money will be transferred to the employees’ account.

According to the information received from the sources , the demand has been raised many times on behalf of the employees regarding this arrear. Along with this, several talks have taken place between the officials of the Ministry of Finance and the concerned department and it is believed that the government will transfer this money directly to the account in the new year.

The government can take this big decision

According to the information received from the media, the central government can take a big decision regarding this matter for a long time. At present, no statement has been issued by the government, nor has any signal been given regarding giving this money. It is expected that due to the continuous demand of the employees, the government can pay it soon.

Freeze was done in 3 installments

Central employees and pensioners can get this money in 3 installments. This money was frozen in 3 installments only. Central government employees have not received DA from January 2020 to June 2021 during the Kovid-19 pandemic.

How much money can be received?

If the government agrees to pay the DA dues of the central employees, then a huge amount is expected to come into their account. The DA arrears of employees at Level-3 is expected to be between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Similarly, the DA arrears of Level-13 or Level-14 employees can range from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.

7th Pay Commission: Only a few days are left for the new year to come. In the new year 2023, government employees can get many good news.

According to media reports, the government can decide on three issues related to the salary of central employees, DA and DR hike, fitment factor revision and 18 months DA arrears. If this happens, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. Only a few days are left for the new year to come.

In the new year 2023, government employees can get many good news. According to media reports, the government can decide on three issues related to the salary of central employees, DA and DR hike, fitment factor revision and 18 months DA arrears. If this happens, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees.

Here we are telling you what is the Fitment Factor Revision of central employees? What is the demand of the government employees regarding the fitment factor and its revision will increase the salary of the employees.

Revision in fitment factor

Government employees are continuously demanding to increase the fitment factor. The central government employees have been demanding for a long time an increase in the minimum basic pay from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 and an increase in the fitment factor from 2.57 times to 3.68 times.

If the government announces an increase in the fitment factor of central employees, then there will be a good increase in their salary. Firstly, the salary of the karchmaris will directly increase by Rs 8,000. With the increase in the basic salary, the allowances related to it like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance etc. will increase.

Salary can increase so much

If the fitment factor is increased to 3.68, then the basic pay of the employees will be Rs 26,000. Now if your minimum salary is Rs 18,000, then excluding allowance you will get Rs 46,260 (18,000 X 2.57 = 46,260) according to 2.57 fitment factor. Now if the fitment factor is 3.68 then your salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000X3.68 = 95,680).

The government had increased DA in September

The central government had increased the dearness allowance by 4 percent before Diwali. The government had increased the DA from 34 per cent to 38 per cent. It was considered applicable from July 1, that is, the employees also got arrears of 2 months in DA. Due to this, there was a significant increase in the salary of government employees before Diwali. Now the employees are expecting in the new year that by increasing the fitment factor, the Modi government will also increase their salaries.

7th Pay Commission: The government has given a big blow to the Central Government Employees. If you too are waiting for 18 Months DA Arrears, then there is a big update for you. Information about this has been given in the Rajya Sabha by the Finance Ministry. The government has said in the Rajya Sabha that the employees will not get their pending DA Arrear money for 18 months.

Giving information, the government has said that the employees will not be given money in three installments . At present, there is no such provision from the government side. This DA arrear money is from the time of pandemic, during the Korana period the government had stopped DA arrears and DR of pensioners.

The Minister of State for Finance gave information

Rajya Sabha MP Naran-bhai J Rathwa was asked whether the government will give the employees the money for their DA arrears. Many demands are coming regarding DA arrears of 18 months, but there is no plan to release this money due to adverse financial impact during the Corona period.

Employees union is unhappy with this reaction from the government, the employees union is not happy at all. They say that this money cannot be stopped. The employees have worked even after the DA was not increased during the Corona period. Explain that the government has saved about Rs 34,000 crore due to non-release of dearness allowance during this period.

DA will increase again in the new year, the central government has not yet paid the DA arrears for 18 months between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, and now the government has refused to give this money. At present, the employees are getting DA at the rate of 38 percent and soon in the month of January i.e. in the new year, DA will be increased once again.

18 Months DA Arrears Big Update: There is great news for central employees, these people may soon get a huge amount in their account. After the meetings of the Finance Ministry, it has come to know that soon an amount of more than 2 lakh will be transferred to the account of the employees.

There is great news for the central employees, soon a huge amount may come in their account. The outstanding arrears of 18 months from the government (DA Arrears) can be transferred soon. After several meetings of the Finance Ministry regarding this, it is expected that soon an amount of more than 2 lakh will be transferred to the employees’ account. According to media reports, the government can take a decision on this soon.

It has been said many times by the Finance Ministry that between January 2020 and June 30, 2021, DA (Dearness Allowance) has not been paid. The DA arrears have been discussed many times between the Finance Ministry and the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery. As of now, no decision has been taken and no notification has been issued.

Giving information last year, the Finance Ministry had said that the DA of 18 months has been frozen and it will not be paid, but due to the demand of the employees, it is being expected again and again. That the government can give money. Along with this, several meetings have been held on behalf of the cabinet as well.

How much arrears can come?

If the central government takes a decision on the stuck dearness allowance, then there is a possibility of getting Rs 2 lakh directly in the account of the employees. Explain that Level 1 employees can get DA arrears ranging from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. On the other hand, if we talk about Level-14 employees, then their account can come from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.

How is DA calculated?

Let us tell you that the DA of the employees is increased twice in a year. The government increases the dearness allowance once in January and second time in July. DA is calculated by multiplying the current rate of DA with the basic salary.

There was an increase of 4 percent

Apart from government employees, public sector employees and pensioners get the benefit of DA. Recently, the government has increased the DA by 4 percent, after which the dearness allowance has increased to 38 percent. At the same time, it is expected to increase by 4 percent in the month of January as well, so it is believed that after January, the employees will get DA at the rate of 41 percent.
