If you have booked tickets for these flights, here we are telling you how to get a refund of the money spent on the ticket or whether the date of the ticket can be rescheduled or transferred.

According to the airline, passengers who have booked flights on these dates will get full refund. And soon the refund will be done in the original mode paid. The airline announced on its website, “We acknowledge that flight cancellations may disrupt your travel plans and we are committed to providing all possible assistance.”

According to the airline, customers who have booked through online travel aggregators will also get refund in the source account. Can I reschedule or transfer GoFirst tickets?

The airline has said that it will not be able to reschedule/transfer tickets. The company said that due to the seats being booked, the tickets would not be able to be rescheduled to a future date.

The reason for the bankruptcy of GoFirst

Go First blamed Pratt & Whitney engines for the grounding of nearly half its fleet. In its bankruptcy filing, GoFirst stated that it was forced to take the step due to an ever-increasing number of failed engines supplied by Pratt & Whitney’s International Aero Engines, leaving GoFirst with 25 aircraft by May 1, 2023 ((approx. A320neo aircraft (equivalent to 50% of the fleet) were grounded. Pratt & Whitney’s percentage of grounded aircraft due to faulty engines has increased from 7% in December 2019 to 31% in December 2020 to 50% in December 2022.
