The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issues the Bank Holidays List every calendar year. It is important to know here that many holidays are of national level. Banks across the country remain closed on that day. At the same time, some holidays are local or regional.

Half of the month of September is about to pass. A total of 13 days will be a holiday in banks in this month. Of these, 8 holidays have passed so far. Now out of the remaining days of this month, there will be 5 days of holidays in the banks of the country. Therefore, if you also have to go to the bank in the coming days for some important work, then definitely take information about the bank holiday.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the list of bank holidays in every calendar year. It is important to know here that many holidays are of national level. Banks across the country remain closed on that day. At the same time, some holidays are local or regional. Bank branches are closed on those days only in some states. The list of holidays is also different for different states and regions.

Services being online is not much of a problem, at present most of the services of banks are available online. Mobile banking and net banking have eased many problems of the customers. This is the reason that now many things can be done including transferring money even when the bank is closed.

But, there are still some such works, which are done only by going to the bank branch. That is why some important work of many customers gets stuck when the bank is closed. Therefore, every bank customer should keep taking information about bank holidays so that if he has any important banking work then he can settle it before the holiday day.

Here is the list of holidays

September 18, 2022 – Banks will be closed on Sundays.
