If the index for December is 382, then the sum of the index between January and December 2022 will be 4468. Thus, the 12-month average will be 372.33. Under the formula, 42.43 percent dearness allowance will be payable on this average price index.

Central Employee Salary Hike 2023: There is good news for central employees. In the new year, the employees can once again get 3 big good news. According to the latest media reports, in 2023, the Modi government at the Center may once again give a gift of 4 percent dearness allowance to the employees, a decision can also be taken to increase the fitment factor and the amount of DA arrears for 18 months. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.

According to media reports, the DA of central employees-pensioners may be increased by 3 to 5 percent in the new year, after which it may be 42 or 43 percent. Since the recently released AICPI index data for November has seen an increase again, this figure has been at 132.5. December figures are yet to come, the numbers of AICPI index in the second half will decide how much dearness allowance will increase in January 2023. It can be announced by March 2023 and it can be implemented from January 1, 2023.

According to Harishankar Tiwari, former president of AG Brotherhood, an expert in wage and pension fixation, the Industrial Price Index is 382 points. If the index for December is 382, then the sum of the index between January and December 2022 will be 4468. Thus, the 12-month average will be 372.33.

Under the formula, 42.43 percent dearness allowance will be payable on this average price index. Dearness Allowance is in round numbers. Hence DA will be payable at 42%. It is believed that if the DA increases by 4 percent, then the basic salary of the employees is set to increase by a total of ₹ 720 per month and for the employees of the maximum salary range by ₹ 2276 per month.

There is also a possibility of increasing the fitment factor.

If media reports are to be believed, then in 2023, the Modi government at the Center may also announce an increase in the fitment factor of the employees, considering the demand. In view of the upcoming elections, the fitment factor of the employees can be increased from 2.57 to 3.00 or even 3.68 percent under the 7th Pay Commission, if the consent is made then the basic salary of the employees will increase by 8000 from 18000 to 21000 or 26000.

There is a possibility that the central government may take a decision on this after the budget to be presented on February 2023. Many big announcements can be made for the employees in the same budget, although no official statement or confirmation has been made in this regard so far. Has been done.

Basic salary will increase up to 49000

Due to the fitment factor, the salary of central employees increases by more than two and a half times.

At present, the fitment factor of the employees under the 7th Pay Commission is 2.57 times and the basic salary is 18000.

For example, if the basic salary of a central employee is Rs 18,000, then excluding allowances, his salary will be 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46,260.

At 3.68, the salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000 X 3.68 = 95,680) i.e. Rs 49,420 profit will be available in salary. With 3 times the fitment factor, the salary will be Rs 21000 X 3 = Rs 63,000.

Possibility of considering arrears of 18 months

If media reports are to be believed, in 2023, a decision is also being expressed on the long pending 18 months DA arrears of the employees. Since the case of DA Arrears of central employees from January 2020 to June 2021 i.e. 18 months is still stuck, due to which resentment is increasing among the employees. It is expected that in view of the upcoming elections, in the year 2023, the central government can solve it by finding a middle way regarding the arrears.

There is news that if the DA of 18 months is calculated, it can reach from thousands of rupees to lakhs of rupees, which the employees are demanding, although till when this decision will be taken, it is not decided yet. Here, the Central Employees Union has decided to call an important meeting in Delhi on January 7, in which the strategy of the movement will be decided on this issue.

You can get arrears up to 2 lakhs

If an arrear of 18 months is agreed upon, then Rs 11000 to Rs 2.18 lakh can come in the account of the employees.

It is estimated that the total amount of arrears is around Rs 34,000 crore, which has saved the central government.

It is expected that Level-1 employees will get Rs.11,880 to Rs.37,554, Level-13 (7TH CPC Basic Pay-Scale Rs.1,23,100 to Rs.2,15,900) and Level-14 (Pay-Scale) from Rs.1,44,200. There is an arrear of Rs.2,18,200.

DA: There is a lot of hope of increasing the Dearness Allowance (DA) to the central employees. On the other hand, DA is increased from time to time by the government. Although 18 months DA of central employees is still pending.

Regarding which a reply has also been filed in the Parliament on behalf of the government. Along with this, the pending DA of 18 months has also been discussed. Lakhs of central government employees are waiting for their 18 months’ dearness allowance (DA) arrears. Regarding which it has been said by the Ministry of Finance that after Corona this was done to reduce the pressure on government finances.

Freeze three installments

Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said in the Rajya Sabha that the decision to freeze the three installments of DA of central government employees on January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 was taken in view of the coronavirus. During the Corona period, there was a lot of economic pressure on the government. In such a situation, such a step was taken to reduce the pressure of finance.

Dearness Allowance

Pankaj Chowdhary said that it was not considered possible to release the outstanding DA/DR for the financial year 2020-21 for the financial impact of the pandemic in the year 2020 and to finance the welfare measures taken by the government. However, till when the outstanding DA of 18 months will be paid, the stand has not been clarified by the government at the moment.

Money is left for 18 months

Choudhary also informed that several representations have been received from various employees/pensioners associations of the Central Government regarding the release of DA/DR arrears for 18 months. At the same time last year, it was told by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that by stopping DA and DR, about Rs 34,402 crore was saved by the government. However, in July 2021, the ban on DA was removed and DA and DR allowances were provided to the employees.

7th Pay Commission DA Arrears: If you yourself are a central government employee or someone from your family is a central employee, then this news is useful for you. Yes, the arrears of 18 months is being demanded from a long time by the central employees.

Now a big statement has come from the government on this. Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chowdhary has given a statement in the Rajya Sabha on the arrears of 18 months. It seems from his statement that the government was forced to give a statement in Parliament on the demand made by the employees on DA arrears.

Employees’ organizations demand meeting with the Finance Minister The Minister of
State for Finance, in response to a question asked during the question hour, told why the arrears of the employees have not been released? Let us tell you that there is a demand from the employees’ organizations to issue arrears for 18 consecutive months. In the past days, the employees’ unions had also demanded a meeting with the Finance Minister regarding this matter.

Government facing financial crisis

Pankaj Chaudhary told in the Rajya Sabha that the Central Government has decided not to release the three installments of Dearness Allowance due to Corona pandemic. He also informed in the House that the government is facing a financial crisis due to the lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. To ensure that the livelihood of the people is not affected in any way, the government has invested in various welfare schemes.

DA was increased to 38 percent in September, he told that for these reasons the money was not released by the government. He also told that even after the effect of coronovirus epidemic subsided, the financial crisis was seen, that is why the outstanding DA of central employees was not released. DA has been increased to 38 percent in September 2022 by the government.

The demand for DA from January 2020 to June 2021 is being made by the government employees for a long time. However, earlier also the government had not made any kind of promise to the employees regarding this.

DA Arrear: The employees have demanded from the government several times regarding this demand. In the last year and a half, three decisions were taken to increase the dearness allowance, but no decision was taken on the arrears of the employees.

If you yourself or someone in your family is an employee of the Government of India, then this news will make you happy. Good news is coming on the 18-month DA Arrear of central government employees who have been stuck for 16 months. Regarding this demand, the employees have demanded from the government several times. In the last year and a half, three decisions were taken to increase the dearness allowance, but no decision was taken on the arrears of the employees.

Meeting may start in the beginning of 2023.

Employees are expected to take a decision on this once again. This can also be discussed in the conversation with the cabinet secretary. Sources in the associate website Zee Business claim that the government can pay the arrears of 18 months in 3 installments. If payment is made on this, it will be available in three instalments. This payment can start getting in the beginning of the year 2023.

Meeting to be held on payment of arrears A meeting is to be held on payment of arrears of Dearness Allowance. During this, it can be agreed to pay the arrears of dearness allowance which has been stopped since the year 2020. In the year 2021, the government had increased DA by 11 percent in one go.

But before this, three installments of January 2020, July 2020, January 2021 have not been received during the Corona. Despite the demand of the employees, the government flatly refused to give it.

Payment in three installments is possible, once again there is hope on this. Representatives of Employees and Pensioners Union will raise this issue in the cabinet secretary’s meeting. It will be their endeavor that the government take a positive decision on this. If the government is ready to give DA arrears of 18 months, then it is possible that it should be paid in three instalments. However, the Finance Ministry had said in this matter that during that time dearness allowance was freeze. In such a situation, money is not made during this period.

The Supreme Court had asked the government to reconsider the matter. It was said on behalf of the court that this is the right of the employees. National Council of JCM (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra told that the payment of employees will be different according to different pay levels. For example, the DA arrears of employees at Level-3 is expected to be between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. However, this figure can change depending on the decision of the government.

7th pay commission: Dearness allowance of central employees has increased. The central government had approved 4 percent DA for the employees. Now it is expected that a decision should also be taken on the DA arrears that are stuck for 18 months.

Good news for central employees. The date of arrears of dearness allowance has been confirmed. A decision can be taken soon on the pending dues of 18 months. The union meeting with the cabinet secretary is to be held in the month of November. However, it is difficult to say what will be the outcome of the meeting with the cabinet secretary. Recently, the Union Cabinet had approved the dearness allowance of the employees. His dearness allowance has gone up to 38 percent. This time a hike of 4 percent has been given. But, now the question is about 18 months arrears. What is the latest update on this?

Demand made from cabinet secretary

There is a lot of agitation on the dues of central employees. The arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA Arrear) from January 2020 to June 2021 is pending. Since the announcement of DA, unions of central employees are continuously demanding dearness allowance. Recently, the JCM Secretary had written a letter to the Cabinet Secretary, in which he had sought time to negotiate on the arrears and demanded that dearness allowance is the right of the employees, a decision should be taken on this. The union believes that there can be a negotiated settlement with the government on the one-time payment of the dues.

How much money are you likely to get?

The amount is huge. If the central employees get arrears under the 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission), there will be a lot of support for them. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM (Staff Side), the outstanding dues of employees at Level-1 range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. At the same time, an employee at Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) and Level-14 (pay scale) will have arrears of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 in his hands. .

How will the calculation of Arrear be done?

The minimum grade pay of a central employee is Rs 1800 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) will get Rs 4320 [{4 percent of 18000} X 6]. At the same time, those with [{4 percent of 56900}X6] will get arrears of Rs 13656. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the DA arrears of central employees from July to December 2020 on the minimum grade pay is Rs 3,240 [{3 percent of 18,000}x6]. At the same time, those with [{3 percent of Rs 56,900}x6] get Rs 10,242. If we calculate the DA arrears between January and July 2021, it will be 4,320 [{4 percent of Rs 18,000}x6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of ₹56,900}x6] will be Rs.13,656.

Payment can be made on the basis of 4320+3240+4320

Means if the minimum salary according to the pay matrix of central employees is Rs 18000, he will get Rs 11,880 as DA Arrear (Rs 4320+3240+4320). In the year 2022, in the cabinet meeting held on September 28, dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent to 38 percent. It has been implemented from 1st July 2022.

The dearness allowance of January 2020, June 2020, January 2021 was frozen due to Corona. When the ban was lifted last year, the government increased dearness allowance by 11 per cent. But, the arrears of that 18 months were not given. Now a meeting can be held on 18th November on the arrears of 18 months. If there is an agreement in this meeting, then there is a possibility of payment of arrears.

The post 18 Months DA Arrear Date Confirmed!

New Delhi , With the increase of 4% dearness allowance of employees, a decision can be taken on the outstanding DA arrear of 18 months. On the other hand, with the increase of DA, one can get the benefit of house rent allowance, travel allowance, gratuity and other allowances.

Along with increasing DA, the amount of PF and Gratuity of the employees will also increase. At the same time, City and Travel Allowance will also increase.

Apart from this, revision in HRA of Central Employees will also be done on time. Its benefit will be more than 47.68 lakh central employees and more than 68.52 lakh pensioners. There will be a jump in salary from 20 thousand to 2.50 lakh.

Dearness allowance will increase by 4%?

The Modi government at the Center can announce an increase in 4% dearness allowance and dearness relief for the second half in August. After the release of the June data of the AICPI index, it is believed that the DA of the employees will increase by 4 to 5%. If it is implemented from July 1, then the arrears of July-August will also be available.

If the basic salary of a central employee is Rs 20,000 per month, then at the current rate of 34 per cent, he is getting DA of Rs 6,800 per month, then at 38 per cent, the amount will increase by Rs 800 per month to 7,600. That is, you will get a profit of Rs 9,600 annually, according to this, the annual DA of an employee with basic salary of Rs 20,000 will be Rs 91,200.

If we look at the maximum basic salary of Rs 56,900, then the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27312. That means Rs 2276 will increase every month against the existing DA. His total annual DA will reach Rs 2 lakh 59 thousand 464.

18 Months DA Arrear to be paid?

The outstanding DA arrears of 18 months of central employees-pensioners (7th Pay Commission Central Government employees) can also be considered. In this regard, a meeting of the Joint Advisory Mechanism (JSM) of the officers of the Department of Personnel and Training and Department of Expenditure (DOPT) of the Ministry of Finance may be held soon. However, the official confirmation is yet to be done. will get accordingly.

If calculated for Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) or Level-14 (pay scale), dearness allowance arrears in the hands of an employee is Rs 1,44,200 to 2 Rs 18,200 will be paid.

If the employee’s basic salary is Rs 18,000, he can get arrears of DA for 3 months (4,320+3,240+4,320) = Rs 11,880. If the employee’s basic salary is Rs 56,000, he can get 3 months (13,656 + 10,242 + 13,656) ) = Rs 37,554 DA arrears. Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900). Level-14 (pay-scale) will get DA arrears of Rs. 18,200 Rs.

Possible increase in house rent allowance?

Currently, HRA rates are 27%, 18% and 9% depending on the category of the city, it is possible to increase it up to 3%. It is believed that soon the HRA of X category employees can be increased by 3 percent, Y category HRA by 2 percent and for Z category 1 percent HRA can be increased. Thereafter, it will increase from 27% to 30%, albeit in case the DA rises from 34 per cent to 50 per cent.

According to the 7th Pay Matrix, the maximum basic salary of employees is Rs 56,900, then if HRA is 27 percent, there will be a profit of 20,484 in the salary. For example, if the house rent allowance is Rs 56900 x 27/100 = Rs 15363 per month, then 30% HRA If it is Rs 56,900 x 30/100 = Rs 17,070 per month, that means the total difference will be Rs 1707 per month.

The annual HRA will increase by Rs 20,484. This rate varies according to the area and city, currently the minimum HRA for all three categories is Rs 5400, 3600 and 1800. According to the same 7th Pay Matrix, the minimum salary of the employees is 18000 and the maximum basic salary is Rs 56,900.
These allowances will also increase

According to media reports, along with dearness allowance, employees will also get the benefit of House Rent Allowance, Travel Allowance, Provident Fund, City Allowance and Gratuity.

The post Good news for Central Employees: 4 allowances of employees will increase, know the latest update of DA and arrears first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.
