Employees are expected to take a decision on this once again. This can also be discussed in the conversation with the cabinet secretary. Sources in the associate website Zee Business claim that the government can pay the arrears of 18 months in 3 installments. If payment is made on this, it will be available in three instalments. This payment can start getting in the beginning of the year 2023.

During this, it can be agreed to pay the arrears of dearness allowance which has been stopped since the year 2020. In the year 2021, the government had increased DA by 11 percent in one go.

But before this, three installments of January 2020, July 2020, January 2021 have not been received during the Corona. Despite the demand of the employees, the government flatly refused to give it.

Payment in three installments is possible, once again there is hope on this. Representatives of Employees and Pensioners Union will raise this issue in the cabinet secretary’s meeting. It will be their endeavor that the government take a positive decision on this. If the government is ready to give DA arrears of 18 months, then it is possible that it should be paid in three instalments. However, the Finance Ministry had said in this matter that during that time dearness allowance was freeze. In such a situation, money is not made during this period.

The Supreme Court had asked the government to reconsider the matter. It was said on behalf of the court that this is the right of the employees. National Council of JCM (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra told that the payment of employees will be different according to different pay levels. For example, the DA arrears of employees at Level-3 is expected to be between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. However, this figure can change depending on the decision of the government.
