According to the Ministry of Railways, from May 8, a women’s special train will run from Panipat-Sonipat to New Delhi. Its time will also be kept keeping in mind the working women. So that he can come to Delhi in the morning at office and return home on time in the evening.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited got Navratna status

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Central Public Sector Undertaking of the Ministry of Railways, has got the status of Navratna Company. RVNL was incorporated as a PSU on January 24, 2003, with the objective of building railway infrastructure capacities on a fast track basis and to mobilize extra budgetary resources for SPV projects.

The company started operations in 2005 with the appointment of the Board of Directors. The company was awarded the Mini Ratna status in September, 2013. The authorized share capital of the company is Rs.3000 crores, of which the paid-up share capital is Rs.2085 crores.
