New Delhi. At present the number of advanced and hi-tech expressways is increasing rapidly in the country. After Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, PM Modi inaugurated many expressways.

Many facilities are being provided on these expressways and the travel time has also been reduced to half. Now if we get such a great road, then obviously toll tax will also have to be paid. After the construction of the expressway, many people want to know how much toll tax will have to be paid on this route? Where will there be plazas for toll tax? But let us tell you one more thing, there are some people who do not have to pay any tax at the toll point.

There are some vehicles in the country which do not have to pay any toll. The Transport Ministry has also issued a detailed list regarding this, in which about 25 people do not have to pay toll tax. Let us tell you that keeping in mind the safety of vehicles, toll tax is used for the construction of roads. It is under the control of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Fastag has been introduced by the Government of India to collect toll, which is a cashless toll travel payment process.

These vehicles do not have to pay toll tax.

There are many vehicles in India which are allowed to pass without paying toll. These include the President of India, Vice President of India, Prime Minister of India, Governor of any state, Chief Justice of India, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Cabinet Minister, Chief Minister of any state, Supreme Court Judge, Minister of State of the Union, Lieutenant of Union Territory.

Governor, Chief of Staff of the rank of full general or equivalent rank, Chairman of the Legislative Council of a State, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of a State, High Court Chief Justice, High Court Judge, Parliamentarian, Army Commander of the Chief of Army Staff and in other services The vehicles of the equivalent, Chief Secretary of the State Government, Secretary to the Government of India, Secretary, Council of States, Lok Sabha, Secretary are included.

They also get exemption.

Central and state armed forces in uniform, including paramilitary forces and police, executive magistrate, fire fighter department, hearse vehicles also do not have to pay toll tax. Apart from these, foreign dignitaries on state visits, members of the Legislative Assembly of any State and members of the Legislative Council of any State within their respective State do not have to pay toll tax if they produce their identity card issued by the respective Legislature of the State. .

The post Toll Tax: These 25 people do not have to pay toll tax, can travel anywhere in the country, see the complete list first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

The work on the country’s longest expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, is going on in full swing. This expressway from New Delhi to Dausa in Rajasthan was already opened for traffic. Now traffic has started in parts of Madhya Pradesh also.

The expressway will pass through five states – Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. 245 km portion of this 1,386 km long expressway also falls in Madhya Pradesh. Now vehicles have started running on this stretch also. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is passing through 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh which include Jhabua, Ratlam and Mandsaur.

The opening of the expressway in Madhya Pradesh will provide a lot of convenience to the drivers. You can drive a car at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour on this 8-lane expressway. But, it is important to know here that entry of 5 types of vehicles is prohibited on the expressway. It is prohibited to take tractors, bikes, straw laden vehicles, harvesters and autos on the expressway.

How much toll will have to be paid?

Toll collection has not yet started on the Madhya Pradesh section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. NHAI officials say that the toll rate in the expressway will be based on cost. In the section where there are more bridges, culverts and interchanges, more toll will have to be paid. The toll rate for small vehicles like car-jeep is being estimated to be Rs 2 to 2.5 per kilometer. At the same time, for big passenger vehicles like buses and trucks, toll can be collected at the rate of Rs 7 per kilometer.

As soon as the vehicles enter the interchange point, the scanner will scan the fastag of the vehicle and send it to all the next points and as soon as the vehicles reach the toll point for exit, toll tax will be automatically collected according to the distance traveled by the vehicle. Fastag will be deducted from the account.

Go only after filling the tank.

The official start of Delhi-Mumbai 8 lane expressway being constructed under Bharatmala project has started in Madhya Pradesh from 20th September, but all the facilities on the expressway have not been developed yet. If you are thinking of speeding on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, then keep food items in your car and also fill the car with sufficient fuel. This is because neither hotels nor petrol pumps have been built on the expressway.

When will the expressway be completed?

The foundation stone of Delhi-Mumbai Express was laid in the year 2019. This 8-lane expressway is being built with modern technology. Netting is being installed on both sides of this expressway, so that no animals etc. can come on the road. You will not feel the shock even if you drive at high speed on a road made with German technology. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is expected to be ready by December 2024 (Delhi-Mumbai Expressway completion date).

The post Delhi-Mumbai Expressway starts in MP, know speed limit and toll tax first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Strict action will now be taken against the drivers who violate the traffic rules on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started preparations for this.

The Automatic Traffic Management System will start functioning on the expressway from the first week of July. This system will identify the vehicles violating the rules with the help of artificial intelligence. After this, the photo and video of the vehicle will be sent to the concerned state police. The traffic police will deduct the challan as per the rules and send the information on the mobile of the driver. At the same time, boards have also been installed on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway after selecting the border so that it is easier for the police to investigate.

Vehicles run at high speed: According to NHAI officials, more than 11,000 vehicles pass through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway daily. Most of them are trucks and cars. While two-wheelers, tractors, autos etc. are not allowed to run on the expressway. Despite this, people ride bikes bypassing the rules in Nuh. People drive vehicles in the wrong direction due to short-cuts. Apart from this, some car drivers drive vehicles at high speed on the expressway. According to NHAI, many times the speed of the car on the route is more than 200 km. Marshals have been deployed by barricading at every entry point to prevent restricted vehicles from plying on the expressway.

One lakh people broke the rules in four months

On 13 February, the first 220 km stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was opened. Which started from Alipur in Sohna till Dausa in Rajasthan. Since then, one lakh drivers have violated traffic rules on the expressway. This figure came out with the help of traffic management system. However, no action was taken on these.

Health dashboard will alert in the control room

A health dashboard has also been made in the control room. Whether the CCTV cameras, mic and range devices installed on the expressway are working properly or not. Their information will be available daily in the control room. If anything goes wrong, it will be informed immediately and it can be rectified in due time. With this, the passengers traveling from here will be able to get quick help.

The post Attention!

The date of commissioning of the country’s largest airport i.e. Noida International Airport has been revealed. Arun Veer Singh, CEO of Noida International Airport Limited, has given this information recently.

It will start next year in 2024, but if you are thinking that it will start before the general elections, then you will be a little disappointed. However, the date of opening of this airport has come to the fore. The special thing is that about 50 lakh passengers are expected to fly at this airport on the very first day.

Governments often try to complete or inaugurate big projects before elections. Recently a section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was inaugurated in Dausa, Rajasthan. Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan by the end of this year.

Airport will be operational on this date

Arun Vir Singh, CEO of Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), said in an interview to a news website that the work of the first phase of Noida Airport will be completed by 30 September 2023. According to the capacity of the rest of the passengers and cargo, the work of its other phases will continue

He told that the trial is expected to start at Noida airport by March 2024. While regular commercial and cargo flights can start from July 2024. At the same time, the first passenger flight is expected to fly from here from 1 October 2024.

The construction of Jewar Airport started in June 2021. Tata Projects is developing it in association with Zurich International Airport AG . Its construction is to be completed in 1,095 days.

3 crore passengers will fly in 5 years

Arun Veer Singh said that with the commissioning of Noida Airport, domestic and international flights will start flying simultaneously from here. Without affecting Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, 50 lakh passengers are likely to fly from here on the first day.

He said that the airport is likely to grow at a rate of 15 to 20 percent every year. In such a situation, in the next 5 years, the number of passengers flying from here can reach up to 30 million. Whereas in the next 5 years it can increase to 5 crores.

The airport will become Asia’s biggest transit hub

Noida International Airport is being developed as a transit hub like the airports of Japan, Australia and Singapore. It will allow passengers traveling between countries in the Asia-Pacific region to change flights.

Road transport between the two cities is going to be easier with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway being built between the country’s capital Delhi and the commercial capital Mumbai . On February 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

This first phase of the expressway will connect Sohna in Haryana to Dausa in Rajasthan. The special thing is that from its beginning, the journey of 228 kilometers from Delhi to Jaipur will be covered in just 2 hours.

The total length of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is 1355 kilometers and it will pass through Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The work of this expressway in MP and Rajasthan is almost completed. Now with its inauguration on February 12,
vehicles will start plying between Delhi to Jaipur and Dausa. Let us know in detail the features of this expressway…

You will get freedom from toll

The biggest feature of Delhi and Mumbai Expressway is that there are no toll gates anywhere on this entire expressway. That is, during the journey, passengers will not have to stop for toll again and again. Interchange tolls have been imposed at the entry and exit points on the highway. The travel fee on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be charged on the basis of the number of kilometres. There are gates for entry and exit at every 50 km where toll will be deducted automatically.

The fee will be 35 paise per km.

As soon as you enter the expressway, the machines installed there will record the time and place of entry. After this, when you get down from the expressway, the machine will automatically deduct the money from your FASTag account.

An NHAI official told the media that only 35 paise per kilometer would be charged, which is the toll rate fixed by the NBT. The traveling distance between Sohna and Dausa is 200 kms, that means the toll tax you will pay is just Rs 70.

There will be five interchanges on the route between Delhi and Jaipur and this highway will be of 8 lanes. It can be made 12 lanes wide. The high speed limit of the expressway is 120 kilometers per hour. There will be 8 entry and exit points between Delhi and Dausa, the first entry and exit point will be at Alipore, followed by other 7 entry-exit points at 10 km, 20 km from Alipore. , 34 Km., 67 Km., 102 Km., 121 Km. And will be located at a distance of 181 kms.
