The Automatic Traffic Management System will start functioning on the expressway from the first week of July. This system will identify the vehicles violating the rules with the help of artificial intelligence. After this, the photo and video of the vehicle will be sent to the concerned state police. The traffic police will deduct the challan as per the rules and send the information on the mobile of the driver. At the same time, boards have also been installed on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway after selecting the border so that it is easier for the police to investigate.

Vehicles run at high speed: According to NHAI officials, more than 11,000 vehicles pass through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway daily. Most of them are trucks and cars. While two-wheelers, tractors, autos etc. are not allowed to run on the expressway. Despite this, people ride bikes bypassing the rules in Nuh. People drive vehicles in the wrong direction due to short-cuts. Apart from this, some car drivers drive vehicles at high speed on the expressway. According to NHAI, many times the speed of the car on the route is more than 200 km. Marshals have been deployed by barricading at every entry point to prevent restricted vehicles from plying on the expressway.

One lakh people broke the rules in four months

On 13 February, the first 220 km stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was opened. Which started from Alipur in Sohna till Dausa in Rajasthan. Since then, one lakh drivers have violated traffic rules on the expressway. This figure came out with the help of traffic management system. However, no action was taken on these.

Health dashboard will alert in the control room

A health dashboard has also been made in the control room. Whether the CCTV cameras, mic and range devices installed on the expressway are working properly or not. Their information will be available daily in the control room. If anything goes wrong, it will be informed immediately and it can be rectified in due time. With this, the passengers traveling from here will be able to get quick help.
