Security deposit has to be paid for LPG connection.

Security money of Rs 2200 has to be deposited for a 14.2 kg cylinder. Yes, if you are from Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Manipur, then you have to pay only Rs 2000. People of these states have to pay Rs 200 for pressure regulator, while people from other states have to pay Rs 250. Security money and pressure regulator charge are the main expenses while taking the connection.

If you want to buy safety hose pipe, you have to pay Rs 170 for 1.2 meter and Rs 190 for 1.5 meter. In case of any mechanical visit, hot plate servicing, safety review and other such requirements, you have to pay Rs 236.

Which documents may be required

For proof of residence, any of the following documents can be used: Aadhaar, Driving License, Lease Agreement, Voter ID, Ration Card, Telephone/Electricity/Water Bill, Passport, House Registration Document, LIC Policy, Bank/Credit Card Statement. Identity Proof: For this you can use Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card Number, Voter ID Card, ID Card issued by Centre/State, Driving License. Know one thing, while taking connection, it is not necessary to buy gas stove (Gas Chulha) from distributor. You can buy it from market as per your choice.
