New RRTS Corridor: There is good news for lakhs of people who face hours of traffic jams and trouble in commuting from Greater Noida to Gurugram. To connect Gurugram to Greater Noida in Delhi NCR, the central government has prepared a plan to build a Regional Rapid Transit System.

Which will connect Gurugram to Greater Noida. This corridor will be 60 km long which will connect Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram to Noida Sector-142 and Surajpur in Greater Noida, in between it will pass through Faridabad Bata Chowk.

The estimated cost of this corridor to be built from Gurugram to Greater Noida will be Rs 15,000 crore. There will be eight stations in this corridor. With the construction of this corridor, the picture of the transport system in Delhi NCR will completely change. Not only this, it will also help in controlling traffic congestion and air pollution.

Haryana CM discussed

in this regard: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently met Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Delhi. During this, the two discussed about RRTS corridor development and metro expansion. In which the expansion of Karnal Gurugram Metro from Sarai Kale Khan to AIIMS in Badsa was also discussed.

Apart from this, additional plans also include connecting IGI Airport with major NCR centers like Gurugram, Faridabad and Jewar Airport through RRTS network. This will further improve the connectivity of these three cities. At the same time, in future, its expansion from Sarai Kale Khan to Dharuhera, Bawal and Shahjahanpur in Rajasthan is also being considered.

Till now, it takes 1.5 to 3 hours to travel from Greater Noida to Gurugram by road. A lot of this depends on the traffic on the road. The construction of this corridor will greatly benefit the working people and students studying in these cities.

Mono Rail: Earlier there was a plan to connect Noida airport to New Delhi station through metro corridor, but the cost of this project was very high, so considering other options, the government has considered monorail as a better option. However, the final decision on this will be taken after the feasibility report is received.

There is a plan to run mono rail from Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk in Noida. With this, it will take less time to reach Noida International Airport from Pari Chowk. Although, earlier there was a plan to connect it with the metro corridor, but due to high cost, the Uttar Pradesh government decided to run mono rail considering other options.

The feasibility report of the mono rail project will be made by a Swiss company and will be ready within 2 months. The distance from Jewar Airport to Greater Noida is about 32 kms. As per the current plan, the mono rail will be run along the Yamuna Expressway and land is already available for it. On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary DS Mishra gave this information during a meeting in Lucknow.

After the final decision Feasibility Report came,

Yamuna Expressway Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh said, “Since the metro corridor project is very expensive, the UP government is looking for other options and mono rail is a good option among them. However, the final decision on this will be taken after the feasibility report is received.

Since earlier there was a plan to connect Noida airport to New Delhi station through metro corridor, but the cost of this project was very high, so it had to be considered. According to the news of TOE, the budget for running mono rail per kilometer is 70 crores, 250 crores for rapidx line and 350 crores per kilometer for metro project, so mono rail is the cheaper option.

Features of mono rail

Actually mono rail is such a train, which does not run on the railway line, rather it is run with the help of beam. The special thing is that its route is elevated, so there is no possibility of accident. At the same time, the passengers sitting inside the mono rail do not hear the outside noise. It is a completely pollution free train. At present, the route for the Mono Rail Project and RapidX has not been prepared.

However, 82 km rapid rail is being prepared between Delhi and Meerut and out of this, 17 km route of corridor between Sahibabad and Duhai in Ghaziabad will start soon.

To install Pod Taxi Service. The country’s first Pod Taxi Service is going to start in Uttar Pradesh in Noida and Greater Noida. The Yogi Government of UP has approved the country’s first pod taxi project between Jewar Airport and the proposed Film City (Jewar Airport to Film City).

The UP government has said that this project will be on PPP model, for which global tenders will be issued next week. Noida and Greater Noida of Gautam Budh Nagar district will be the first city in the country, where pod taxi facility will be available. 12 stations will be built on the 14.6 kilometer long corridor. About Rs 642 crore is estimated to be spent on this project. The government has set a target to complete this project by March 2026.

Let us tell you that ever since the construction of Jewar Airport has started in Noida, new development projects are also coming up in the district. Under this, now the Yamuna Authority is going to run pod taxis. For this, the Yamuna Authority has prepared the DPR of the project from the Central Government company Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited. Film City, Jewar International Airport and Data Center are being built in the area of Yamuna Authority.

Country’s first pod taxi service in Noida

Tell that a pod taxi is a taxi that looks like a car. It runs without a driver. It runs on a steel track. It will start in Noida on a 14.6 km route from Jewar International Airport to Film City, in which 12 stations will be built. There is no public transport system in Noida except Metro. For people living in far flung areas from metro, there is no other option other than private vehicle.

Tourism will also get a boost

Yamuna Authority has a plan to link pod taxi with tourism. For this, there is also a proposal to build an amusement park on 100 acres in Film City. If the person coming to Jewar airport has time, he can come to this park by pod taxi. Along with this, the local people will also have the option of movement due to Jewar Airport.

Before approval from the UP government, got the study done of the countries where pod taxi service is running. The Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited company, a Government of India company, studied pod taxis running in London, Abu Dhabi and South Korea. 24 passengers will be able to travel in a pod taxi in Noida.

Pod taxi will run at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. With this, about 8000 passengers will be able to travel daily. 6 to 24 passengers will be able to sit in a pod taxi. 112 pod taxis will be called for this project in Noida. Company A will be given license for this project for 35 years.
