The Haryana government has decided to cancel the public holiday on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on April 30.

The annual holiday calendar issued by the government earlier declared April 30 as a holiday, but now the gazette notification has been withdrawn, citing an “unintentional error”. As per the latest orders, government offices and institutions will remain open on this day.

The order issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on Thursday said that this notification was published in error, which has now been cancelled. Along with this, the government has directed all administrative secretaries, department heads, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, SDMs and heads of boards and corporations to ensure compliance with this order.

After this decision, now April 30 will be a normal working day in Haryana, and all government offices, boards, corporations and institutions will function as usual. As per the orders, clear information has been given to all the concerned officials to avoid any confusion in this regard.

Holiday cancelled- Bad news for employees and officers. Holidays of all officers and employees have been banned. An order has also been issued in this regard. No leave will be given to officers and employees till May 31. In special circumstances, leave will be given only on the orders of the Collector.

This order has been issued from Surguja (Chhattisgarh) for now, but similar orders will be issued from other districts soon. According to the orders issued, Sushasan Tihar is to be organized from April 8 to May 31. Sushasan Tihar is being celebrated in three phases. The first phase will last till April 11, while the third and last phase will last from May 5 to May 31.

A big news has come out for teachers and government employees in Chhattisgarh. The Surguja district administration has completely banned the holidays of all officers and employees till May 31, 2025. This order has been issued keeping in mind the successful organization of Sushasan Tihar.

As per the orders, the Sushasan Festival is being organized in the district in three phases from April 8 to May 31. Its first phase will last till April 11, while the last phase will last from May 5 to May 31. During this period, all government officers and employees posted in the district will not be able to take leave.

The ban order makes it clear that leave will be granted only in special circumstances and will require prior permission from the Collector. Those going on leave without permission will be warned of disciplinary action.

The ban is currently in effect for Surguja district, but sources say similar orders may be issued in other districts soon. The state government is keeping a close watch on good governance in Tihar and has directed all districts to implement the programmes successfully.

The objective of Sushasan Tihar is to bring the administration closer to the public, increase transparency and ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the last person. In this, information about government schemes, solution camps and awareness programs is being provided.

Eid Holiday Cancelled: Eid holiday on Monday cancelled, offices will remain open on Sunday too

30-31 March Holiday Cancelled: All the Sub-Registrar offices of the Registration and Stamps Department in Rajasthan will remain open on Saturday-Sunday and Monday (March 31), which are also holidays in the state.

Collector (Stamps) and Deputy Inspector General of Registration Jaipur Gordhan Lal Sharma said that the Sub-Registrar offices will remain open on March 29, 30, 31.

Where all the documents will be registered on the working day. Here, to implement the budget announcement, a sub-registrar’s office will be opened at every district headquarters from 8 am to 8 pm on every Monday and Friday. This is being started from March 28.
