Alert for rain in Delhi for 2 days

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance has become active in the country, due to which there is an alert of rain in Delhi-NCR today and tomorrow. According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is active in the form of a cyclonic circulation along with a trough line over northern Pakistan and its surroundings. A cyclonic circulation is located over western Rajasthan at the lower troposphere level. A fresh western disturbance is also active in the form of a trough, with westerly winds blowing.

Due to the effect of these weather conditions, there is a possibility of scattered rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan region today and tomorrow on January 23. There is a possibility of scattered rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and western Uttar Pradesh today on January 22 and tomorrow on January 23. Warning of dense fog and cold day

According to the Meteorological Department, fog may occur in the morning and evening in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till January 24. Fog will prevail in Himachal Pradesh and eastern Uttar Pradesh during January 24-26. Fog is likely to occur in many areas of western Uttar Pradesh from today to January 26.

Cold day conditions are likely to develop in some parts of Himachal Pradesh on January 23. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to go to the Comorin region and areas adjacent to the Gulf of Mannar till January 24.
