										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>ITR Filing 2022:</strong> The date of filing IT return varies according to the category of taxpayer. Salaried people have to file ITR by July 31. Some people are not able to file their income tax return even by the due date after which they have to bear the penalty.</p>
<p>Every year people have to file income tax return. The last date for filing income tax returns for the financial year 2021-22 was July 31, 2022. Many people could not file the return on the last day due to technical difficulties. Through social media, people are also demanding to increase the deadline for filling ITR. Those people need not despair. Returns can be filed by 31st December 2022. For this you will have to pay late fee. This late fee is collected as income tax return penalty.</p>
<p>This late fee has to be paid , the date of filing IT return varies according to the category of taxpayer. Salaried people have to file ITR by July 31. Those who will not be able to file the return by the last date will have to pay the late fee. If someone&#8217;s income is more than Rs 5 lakh, he will have to pay Rs 5000 as late fee by the last date December 31, 2022. At the same time, those earning less than 5 lakh will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000.</p>
<p>These people have to file the return by 31 October, corporate and business can file the return till 31 October. Corporates or those who need to audit their accounts. You can file your return till 31st October. No penalty is levied on these people for filing returns by October 31. The existing income tax rules provide for imprisonment of not less than 6 months and imprisonment for a maximum of 7 years. <p><span>The date of filing income tax return is now approaching, in such a situation it is necessary for the taxpayers to fill their ITR before time. After the filing of Income Tax Return (ITR 2022), all the return files are scrutinized by the Income Tax Department. It is seen from the department that whether there is any difference between the tax declaration and the tax payment made by the taxpayers. If there is any difference between these two details, then a notice is sent by the department to the taxpayer, this notice is the outstanding tax demand and many times the taxpayers get nervous after seeing this notice. </span></p>

<li><span>If you want to pay for any demand, click on Pay Now</span></li>
<li><span>Go to the Response to Outstanding Amount page and click on Submit Response</span></li>
<li><span>If the taxpayer has not paid the tax, then he has to go to the e-pay tax page and pay the tax from here</span></li>
<li><span>If the demand is correct and tax is paid then click on add challan details and fill the challan details</span></li>
<li><span>Challan amount, BSR code, serial number and date of payment have to be entered</span></li>
<li><span>Attach PDF copy of challan and click on save</span></li>
<li><span>If you do not agree with the demand, click on Add Region</span></li>
<li><span>State the reason for disagreement here and submit the relevant documents</span></li>

<p>The last date to file income tax return is. Now only a few days are left. There is a demand to extend the deadline on Twitter to extend the date of return. However, the department is not in favor of this. 31st July 2022 is the last date to file tax returns. Different tax payers of different categories of income tax returns file different ITR forms. Most of the people, fill the ITR-1 &#8216;Sahaj&#8217; form (ITR Form-1). This form is filled when the income from your salary, house rent and other income sources is less than Rs 50 lakh. Let us know in detail how you can file this form in just 15 minutes.</p>
<h3><strong>How to File ITR Online</strong></h3>
<p>The filing of income tax return will start by logging in to the e-filing portal. Login with your User ID and Password.<br />
Click on &#8216;e-File&#8217; on the dashboard, then go to &#8216;Income Tax Return&#8217; and click on the option &#8216;File Income Tax Return&#8217;.<br />
After this, select &#8216;Assessment Year&#8217; and then click on &#8216;Continue&#8217;.<br />
After this select the &#8216;Online&#8217; filling mode and then press the option of &#8216;Proceed&#8217;.</p>
<h3><strong>Select the type of income tax return</strong></h3>
<p>Select whichever category is applicable to you and then select the option &#8216;Continue&#8217;.<br />
You have to choose one of the types of income tax return. You will see two options, first- if you are not sure which ITR you want to file then select the option &#8216;Help me decide which ITR to file&#8217; and proceed.<br />
&#8211; If you know which ITR return you have to file, second, select the option &#8216;I know which ITR form to file&#8217; and select the ITR format from the options given in the dropdown menu and then click &#8216;Next Proceed&#8217;.</p>
<h3><strong>This is how ITR filing process will be completed</strong></h3>
<p>After the above-mentioned steps, prepare a list of all the necessary documents in one place and then click on &#8216;Let&#8217;s get started&#8217;.<br />
Some questions will appear on the screen, answer them according to you and then select the option of &#8216;Continue&#8217;.<br />
Fill the required data and click on &#8216;Confirm&#8217; option given after each section.<br />
Fill in your income and deduction figures separately and do not leave any section incomplete.<br />
If there is a tax liability, then select the option to pay it and if it is not there then select &#8216;Preview return&#8217;.  After verification, click on the option &#8216;Submit Return&#8217;, &#8216;Proceed to Verify&#8217; and then on the page that will open, select the option of your choice and proceed. Please note that this verification is necessary.<br />
&#8211; If there is any refund on the basis of tax calculation then you will be taken back to the previous page.<br />
After doing this, on the page of &#8216;Preview and Submit Return&#8217;, fill in the option of &#8216;Location&#8217;, then tick the declaration checkbox and select &#8216;</p>
<h3><strong>Process completed, how will the status be checked</strong></h3>
