Cut in domestic cylinder

On August 29, the Central Government has reduced the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 200. After this cut, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are being sold for Rs 903 in the country’s capital Delhi. Earlier, the price of such a cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1103.

Cut in commercial cylinder

On September 1, the price of commercial cylinder (19 kg) was also reduced by Rs 157. After the new cut, it has started selling at Rs 1522.50 instead of Rs 1680 in the country’s capital Delhi.

Relief to the people of Ujjwala Yojana

Customers coming under the purview of Ujjwala Yojana will also get the benefit of Rs 200 reduction in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. Explain that such beneficiaries are already getting a subsidy of Rs 200. Thus, after the new deduction, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala will get a total benefit of Rs 400.

In such a situation, the beneficiaries will now get LPG cylinder for Rs.703. Along with this, it has also been decided to give 75 lakh new LPG connections free of cost. With this, the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will increase to 10.35 crore.

There has been no reduction in the prices of the same domestic gas cylinder. According to IOCL, from October 1, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder of Indane in Delhi will be Rs 25.5, Kolkata Rs 36.5, Mumbai Rs 32.5, Chennai Rs 35.5 less. Domestic LPG cylinder of 14.2 kg will be available at old prices only.

Commercial gas cylinder became cheaper by Rs 36.
Let us tell you that recently the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 36 to Rs 1,976.50. Commercial LPG is used by hotels, restaurants and other commercial establishments. This is the fourth cut in commercial LPG rates since May. Overall the prices have come down by Rs 377.50 per cylinder.

No change in the price of domestic gas cylinder 
It is noteworthy that there is no change in the price of LPG gas used in domestic cooking. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in the national capital is Rs 1,053.
