Cut in domestic cylinder

On August 29, the Central Government has reduced the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 200. After this cut, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are being sold for Rs 903 in the country’s capital Delhi. Earlier, the price of such a cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1103.

Cut in commercial cylinder

On September 1, the price of commercial cylinder (19 kg) was also reduced by Rs 157. After the new cut, it has started selling at Rs 1522.50 instead of Rs 1680 in the country’s capital Delhi.

Relief to the people of Ujjwala Yojana

Customers coming under the purview of Ujjwala Yojana will also get the benefit of Rs 200 reduction in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. Explain that such beneficiaries are already getting a subsidy of Rs 200. Thus, after the new deduction, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala will get a total benefit of Rs 400.

In such a situation, the beneficiaries will now get LPG cylinder for Rs.703. Along with this, it has also been decided to give 75 lakh new LPG connections free of cost. With this, the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will increase to 10.35 crore.
