Transport Commissioner Chandra Bhushan Singh said on Monday that among these nine services, duplicate RC, special permit, RC details, duplicate permit, duplicate fitness certificate, duplicate DL, address change in DL, DL replacement and DL extract have been made live through Aadhaar authentication. Apart from this, the work of learner’s license, application for permanent registration, license and mobile number update from the vehicle is already being done through Aadhaar authentication.

The Transport Commissioner said that the benefits of these services can be availed through Aadhaar authentication. People will get facilities without coming to the transport office. Making these works faceless will be very convenient for the general public. Work is also being done to make other services provided by the Transport Department faceless. Soon, action will be taken to make other facilities also faceless using this system.

For duplicate RC or other works including special permit, you have to visit the transport department’s site https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ . Here you have to enter your state after selecting the work. Fill in the requested details correctly.

Rules for access:

Driving training center should be at such a place where it is easily accessible to everyone without any hassle. Meaning there should not be any obstruction in the way of commuting.

Qualification of trainers:

Trainers must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Additionally, they must have at least 5 years of driving experience.

Apart from this, driving trainers are also required to have basic knowledge of biometrics and information technology systems.

Training time:

Light vehicle training must be completed in less than 4 weeks with a minimum of 29 hours of training. This training will be in two sections, theoretical and practical.

Theoretical training should be of 8 hours, while 21 hours have been fixed for practical. The government is making these rules so that only qualified drivers can get the license.

Heavy vehicles training:

38 hours training will be mandatory for heavy motor vehicles. In which 8 hours of theoretical education and 31 hours of practical are included. This training should be completed within 6 weeks.
