Income Tax Recruitment 2024: Recruitment has come out in the Income Tax Department for those looking for government jobs after completing High School, Inter BA, B.Sc. There are vacancies for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff, Tax Assistant, Stenographer Grade II, Canteen Attendant and Income Tax Inspector in Income Tax Department Mumbai region.

In this recruitment being done under sports quota, 6 levels of priority have been fixed for the selection of applicants. Which are as follows-

Players who have represented the country at the international level
State/Union Territory medal winners at senior and junior levels -Those who have
won medals up to third position at University and Inter-University level
Three at the State School level in National Sports/Games Those who won medals up to position
Those who won National Award in Physical Efficiency under Physical Efficiency Drive
Those who played in State/Union Territory/University/State School team but did not get medal or position

Educational qualification

Income Tax Inspector/Tax Assistant- Must have graduation degree in any stream.
Stenographer Grade II- Must have passed 12th class from a recognized board.
MTS/Canteen Attendant- Must have passed high school.

Age limit

The age limit for the post of Income Tax Inspector is 18 to 30 years. Whereas for the posts of Stenographer and Tax Assistant and MTS it is 18 to 27 years and for the post of Multi Tasking Staff and Canteen Attendant it is 18 to 25 years. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2023. According to government rules, relaxation of five years will be provided in the maximum age limit.

Income Tax Department has released the vacancy for 72 posts of Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff. For this, candidates between the age of 18 to 30 years can apply online on or before February 6 by visiting the official website of Income Tax, tnincometax.gov.in.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 30 years for the post of Income Tax Inspector to appear in the recruitment process. Whereas the minimum age of the candidates applying for the post of Tax Assistant, MTS should be 18 years and maximum age should be 27 years.

If selected in the recruitment process in the Income Tax Department, the candidate will be given a salary of Rs 9300 to 34,800 if selected for the post of Income Tax Inspector, while joining the post of Tax Assistant, MTS will be given a salary ranging from Rs 5200 to Rs 20200.

To be included in the recruitment process, the candidates for Income Tax Inspector must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Tax Assistant – Degree from a recognized University.
