These trains have been cancelled

Five trains will be affected due to work at Dulmera station. Jodhpur divisional railway manager Anurag Tripathi said that a block will be taken at Dulmera station situated between Bikaner-Suratgarh railway section due to technical work. Due to this, there will be a change in the operation of five trains. Train number 19719/19720 Jaipur-Suratgarh-Jaipur Express has been completely cancelled from August 3 to August 10.

Check train

number 14722 Abohar-Jodhpur Express will be partially canceled on 9 and 10 August. On these two days, this train will operate from Bikaner station instead of Abohar, that is, this train will be partially canceled between Abohar and Bikaner. Passengers have been advised to check the timetable before traveling.

This block will also affect other trains. Train 14887 Rishikesh-Barmer Express will depart from Rishikesh 1 hour late from its scheduled time from 6 to 8 August, while train 22981 Kota-Sriganganagar Superfast Express will stop for 30 minutes at Bikaner railway station after departing from Kota on 2 August.

Appeal to passengers

Jodhpur division’s Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi has appealed to the passengers to check the updated timetable of the respective trains before travelling. He said that this technical work is being done for the safety of passengers and better rail services in future.

1 Train number 22987, Ajmer – Agrafort train service which will depart from Ajmer from 23.05.25 to 11.06.25 will terminate at Agra Cantt station instead of Agrafort at 12.45 hrs.
2 Train number 22988, Agrafort – Ajmer train service will operate from Agra Cantt station instead of Agrafort at 14.45 hrs from 23.05.25 to 11.06.25.

Change in stopping station

1. Train No. 14854/14864/14866, Jodhpur-Varanasi City train service which will depart from Jodhpur from 23.05.25 to 11.06.25 will not stop at Agra Fort station.

2. Train No. 12988, Ajmer-Sealdah train service which will depart from Ajmer from 23.05.25 to 11.06.25 will arrive at Idgah station instead of Agra Fort at 19.35 hrs and depart at 19.40 hrs.

Operations at other stations will remain the same.

Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer Captain Shashi Kiran has appealed to the passengers to confirm the dates and timings of the trains before travelling and avail safe travel by making advance reservations. He said that the operating time and stoppage of these rail services at other stations will remain the same.

In view of this cyclone in Gujarat, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has held a meeting with the state government for preparations to deal with this disaster.

A total of 12 NDRF teams have been deployed in different areas of the state. Apart from this, medical teams of Delhi’s AIIMS, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Delhi, Lady Hardinge Hospital Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, Jodhpur AIIMS have been kept ready for emergency situation.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that normal train services are likely to be restored by Wednesday. He informed that traffic block will be taken due to ongoing development works in South Central Railway. This is the reason that the route of these trains starting from Ranchi’s Hatia and Dhanbad stations has been changed.

• Train No. 13351 Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express will be diverted to run via Niddavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada instead of its scheduled routes of Niddavolu, Eluru, Vijayawada on 23 May 2023, 26 May 2023 and 27 May 2023. Due to this change in the route, there will be no stoppage of this train at Tadepalligudem and Eluru stations.

• In addition to these two trains, train number 18637 Hatia-Sir M Visvesvaraya Bengaluru Express will run via Niddavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada instead of its scheduled route of Niddavolu, Eluru, Vijayawada on 27 May 2023.

Due to which the operation of many trains has been cancelled. Recently, IRCTC issued a notification stating that 10 trains have been canceled till February 11 due to repair and operational work. These trains have been canceled due to the ongoing development work at Bardhaman station.

• Train number 12334 Prayagraj Rambagh-Howrah Express canceled on 10 February
• Train No. 13105 Sealdah-Ballia Express canceled on 04 and 09 February
• Train number 13106 Ballia-Sealdah Express will be canceled on 05 and 10 February
• Train number 13167 Kolkata-Agra Cantt Express canceled on 09 February
• Train number 13168 Agra Cantt-Kolkata Cantt Express on 11 February
• Train number 15050 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Express will be canceled on 08 February
• Train No. 15047 Kolkata-Gorakhpur Express is canceled on 09 February

Railways has told that the increased fare has come into effect from October 1. From now on, passengers will have to spend Rs 450 more in AC-1 for booking a PNR. At the same time, an additional payment of Rs 270 will have to be made in AC-2 and 3 and Rs 180 in sleeper.
