Nitin Gadkari said that at present, if a person covers a distance of even 10 km on the toll road, then he has to pay a fee of 75 km, but in the new system, only the distance will be charged for the distance covered. He denied that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was going through a financial crisis. He said that the condition of NHAI is absolutely fine and there is no shortage of money with it. He said that in the past two banks offered loans at low rates.
