But due to this work, the Railways has to cancel many trains passing through that route. According to the information received recently, interlocking work is going on from North Eastern Railway Gorakhpur Junction to Gorakhpur Cantt. Due to which many trains have been affected. Railways has released the list of trains cancelled due to this work.

- Train number 11038 Gorakhpur–Pune Express will remain cancelled on 03 May 2025.
- Train No. 12511 Gorakhpur–Kochuveli Express will remain cancelled on 01, 02 and 04 May 2025.
- Train No. 12512 Kochuveli–Gorakhpur Express will remain cancelled on 30 April, 04, 06 and 07 May 2025.
- Train no. 12589 Gorakhpur–Secunderabad Express will remain cancelled on 30 April 2025.
