The round of transfers in Bihar continues in the election year. After the large-scale transfer of IAS officers last week, now 16 officers of Bihar Administrative Service have been transferred.

Rajiv Kumar Singh has been appointed as Additional Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department. Rashid Kaleem Ansari has been given the charge of Administrative Officer General Administration. Kumar Devendra has been made Additional Secretary of the Water Resources Department.

Ajay Kumar has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Water Resources Department. Kumar Siddharth has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Science and Technology Department. Swapnil has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Darbhanga. Sandeep Kumar has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner of Sitamarhi. Kumar Omneswar has been posted as OSD in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Sanjeev Kumar Singh has been posted as District Land Acquisition Officer in Chhapra.

Let us tell you that last week, the Nitish government transferred 34 officers of the Bihar Administrative Service. Patna DM Chandrashekhar was made the Commissioner of Patna. In the new administrative reshuffle of Bihar, 24 IAS were transferred. Under this, Thyagarajan has been made the DM of Patna and Vidyanand Singh has been made the DM of Buxar. Last time, 18 DMs and 6 Commissioners were transferred in Bihar.
