The Philippines has introduced two new visa-free travel options for Indian citizens, which will come into effect from May 2025. Now Indian tourists can stay in the Philippines for up to 14 days without a visa. If someone has a valid visa or residency of the US, UK, Japan or Schengen countries, he can stay without a visa for up to 30 days.

14 days visa free entry
Now Indian tourists can visit Philippines without visa, that too for full 14 days. This facility is being given only for tourism, you can neither extend it nor change it to any other visa. With free visa, you can also enter Philippines from major airports, seaports or cruise terminals.
How to get free visa for 14 days
- The purpose of the trip should be just to wander around.
- The passport must be valid for at least six months after your trip ends.
- It is necessary to show hotel booking and return or onward journey ticket.
- You must have enough money to cover your entire trip – you will need to provide proof of this.
Now comes the free visa for 30 days
You can also travel without a visa for up to 30 days. If Indian citizens have a valid visa or permanent residency for Australia, Japan, the US, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore or the United Kingdom, they can travel without a visa for up to 30 days under a new rule.
What you need to have for a 30 day visa
- Must have a valid visa or PR from any of the countries mentioned above.
- Passport should be valid for at least 6 months.
- There must be proof of onward journey or return ticket.
- Have a clean immigration record in the Philippines (i.e. no violations)
- This visa is only for tourism, it cannot be extended.
