Monsoon Report: Monsoon has covered the entire country. The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast that the monsoon in South India has become quite weak due to the changing weather system in the Bay of Bengal.
Along with this, a large amount of clouds are rising from the Bay of Bengal, due to which there is a possibility of heavy rain not only in East and North India but also in North-East India and Bangladesh.
The Meteorological Department said that the weather system has changed in North India in recent days. The monsoon is moving northwards and is advancing along the borders of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh have been helped to recover from the lack of monsoon rains soon. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the coming week is very important for these states. This week is going to be very important for the entire North India including Punjab, Haryana.
Cyclonic circulation active
The Meteorological Department said that the low pressure formed over Jharkhand and surrounding areas is now gradually weakening. However, the strong cyclonic circulation associated with it is still active. This will give rise to heavy weather activities in east and northeast India this week. Meghalaya, southeast Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram may receive heavy rains by the end of this week.

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for East and Central India and said that there is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha till July 08. Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand may receive heavy rain till July 06. Thunderstorm, lightning along with rain is likely at most/many places in the region during the next 7 days.
The Meteorological Department has issued a report for North-West India. On July 03, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in East Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall is likely in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Haryana and Chandigarh till July 08. Heavy rainfall is also likely in East Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph are likely at most places in North-West India during the next 7 days.
Weather conditions in Western India-
Very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the Ghat regions of Maharashtra in July. During the next 7 days, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region and heavy rainfall is likely over Saurashtra and Kutch.
