Weather high Alert: There will be rain with thunder and lightning in these districts in the next 72 hours

Weather Update: As soon as the storm and rain stopped, the heat in Madhya Pradesh has started showing its fierce form. It seems as if the weather has suddenly changed and the scorching sun has started testing the people of the state. A situation like Nautapa has developed in the beginning of May-June itself.

On Monday, the maximum temperature in 7 major cities of the state went above 45 degrees Celsius, which was recorded for the first time in this season. Such high temperatures are usually seen in the end of April or the first week of May, but this time it has touched a shocking level in June.

The Meteorological Department has warned that there is no hope of relief on Tuesday as well. The heat will continue throughout the state and there is no possibility of rain or thunderstorm at any place at present. Heat wave has been predicted in the districts of the north-central region – Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Panna. Going out of the house during the afternoon in these areas can prove to be dangerous for health.

The maximum temperature in the capital Bhopal was recorded at 43.4 degrees Celsius on Monday, which was the highest this season. Talking about other big cities, Jabalpur recorded 42.6 degrees, Ujjain 42 degrees, and Indore 39.6 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature in Indore was comparatively lower, the humidity and hot winds there disturbed the normal life.

There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Jabalpur, Damoh, Sagar, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Narmadapuram, Betul, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara and Pandhurna districts.
  • The weather will be more active on June 12. On this day, there is a possibility of rain and thunder in Jabalpur, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Betul, Narmadapuram, Harda, Raisen, Panna, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj and Sidhi districts. Along with rain, lightning and strong winds can also occur in these areas, due to which there is a need to be alert.
  • On June 13, the weather will be widely affected across the state. On this day, an alert of storm, rain and thunder has been issued in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Sagar, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Damoh, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Maihar, Katni, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat and Seoni. On this day, the weather will change completely in most parts of the state and relief from heat is expected.
