Weather Update: As soon as the storm and rain stopped, the heat in Madhya Pradesh has started showing its fierce form. On Monday, the maximum temperature in 7 major cities of the state went above 45 degrees Celsius, which was recorded for the first time in this season. Such high temperatures are usually seen in the end of April or the first week of May, but this time it has touched a shocking level in June.

The Meteorological Department has warned that there is no hope of relief on Tuesday as well. The heat will continue throughout the state and there is no possibility of rain or thunderstorm at any place at present. Heat wave has been predicted in the districts of the north-central region – Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Panna. Going out of the house during the afternoon in these areas can prove to be dangerous for health.

The maximum temperature in the capital Bhopal was recorded at 43.4 degrees Celsius on Monday, which was the highest this season. Talking about other big cities, Jabalpur recorded 42.6 degrees, Ujjain 42 degrees, and Indore 39.6 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature in Indore was comparatively lower, the humidity and hot winds there disturbed the normal life.
