Latest update Punjab weather- The mood of the weather is changing again today. The latest update about the weather of Punjab has come out. The weather in the state may deteriorate once again.

In the last 24 hours till 8:30 am today, Monday, Amritsar received 3.7 mm of rain, Ludhiana 6.4 mm and Patiala 9.2 mm of rain.

It has been raining in many districts since this morning. According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Tarn Taran, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts.

Similarly, there is a possibility of rain in some districts of the state on the 8th, 9th and 10th. Along with this, people have been advised not to go out without any urgent work and to take precautions during rain.

Similarly, Bathinda received 20.2 mm, Faridkot 21 mm, Gurdaspur 3.8 mm, Ferozepur 8 mm and Rupnagar 0.5 mm of rain. The maximum temperature at most places in the state remained between 29 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees. Punjab is facing one of its worst flood disasters in decades, in which 48 people have died while crops in 1.76 lakh hectares have been damaged.

Let us tell you that this year during the monsoon season, there has been heavy rain across the country. Due to heavy rain, dams, rivers and lakes have been filled. There has been a lot of mourning due to floods in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain for the next few days.

Weather Update

The Meteorological Department said that the spell of heavy rain will continue in Rajasthan. Heavy rain is likely in most parts of the state for the next few days. IMD has issued a red alert in Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Salambar and Udaipur districts of the state today i.e. Saturday. Heavy rain is likely in Ajmer, Baran, Bewar, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Kota, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Balotra, Barmer and Jalore.

It is worth mentioning that the rains have caused a lot of damage in Punjab for the last few weeks. Crops standing in the fields have been completely destroyed, roads and bridges have been damaged.
