Weather Update: Cold wave continues in Uttar Pradesh. Winter is wreaking havoc with severe fog and cold wave. Dense fog is prevailing in many districts of the state including the capital Lucknow. In such a situation, there is going to be severe cold in the coming four days. The Meteorological Department has issued a winter alert in the coming days.

On January 27, the Meteorological Department has issued a red winter alert in 41 districts including Bareilly, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Hardoi, Sultanpur, Azamgarh. Along with this, orange alert has also been issued in many districts, in such a situation dense fog and hailstorm can trouble people. To escape the harsh cold, people are resorting to bonfires and warm clothes.

Severe cold alert for two days

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of severe cold on 27 and 28 January. According to this, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpur, Auraiya, Farrukhabad, Unnao, Hardoi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ghazipur, Ballia, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Jalaun, Kanpur Dehat. A warning has been issued regarding cold day. During this period, cold wave and dense fog will persist.

When will we get relief from cold?

It is severe winter in entire North India including Uttar Pradesh. The weather department has issued an alert in many districts. According to the weather forecast, there will be no respite from the cold for the next four days. Due to severe cold, normal life has become disrupted. The speed of traffic has slowed down. Due to dense fog, visibility has reduced to a great extent.
