Heavy Rain Warning: The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in many states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rains in many parts of the country in the next few days.

Rain continues in most states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain may continue in many areas of East, West, North India, Central India, Northeast India, South India.

According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rains along with extremely heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh.

Rain is also likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Punjab in the coming days.

According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Tamil Nadu and Kerala during the next 5 days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Northeast and adjoining East India during the next 7 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, extremely heavy rains may occur at some places in western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next 3 days. According to IMD, there is a possibility of very heavy rain at some places in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh during August 6 to 11.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that during August 6 to 11, thunderstorms, lightning and rain may continue at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema during August 6 to 8.
