August 10, 2025: All banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
August 13: Banks will remain closed in Kerala due to the Onam festival holiday.
August 15: Banks will remain closed across the country on Independence Day.
August 16: Banks will remain closed in Maharashtra and Gujarat due to Parsi New Year (Nawroz).
August 17, 2025: All banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
August 19: Banks will remain closed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Digital services like net banking, UPI, mobile banking and ATMs will remain available even on bank holidays. You will be able to easily perform tasks like fund transfer, balance check, bill payment. Now even though digital banking has become common, there are many tasks that cannot be completed without visiting the bank. For tasks like cheque clearance, KYC update, locker visit, it is necessary to visit the branch, which will not be possible on a holiday.
