  • 1 May (Thursday) – Bandh in many states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat
  • 2 May (Friday) – Bandh in West Bengal, Tripura and Delhi
  • 4 May (Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
  • 10 May (Saturday) – Second Saturday
  • 11 May(Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
  • May 12 (Monday) – Buddha Purnima, banks closed in many states
  • 16 May (Friday) – Sikkim Foundation Day
  • 18 May(Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
  • 24 May (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday
