EPFO Update: E-nomination has become mandatory for all the members of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. If your online EPFO member ID does not have a profile picture, then it will not be possible to do e-nomination.
If you log in to UAN account to file e-nomination and profile photo is not displayed in your ID, you will get the message “Unable to proceed”. Hence it is advised that you first upload your profile picture in your UAN member portal. After this complete the process of EPFO e-nomination.
How to upload photo in e-nomination
- Log on to the official portal of EPFO with your UAN member ID
- In the menu section drop down and click on View
- Now choose profile
- After this, in the left side you will see the details of your profile and profile photo change option
- Select photo in prescribed format by EPFO
- Upload your photo and select OK
keep these things in mind
- Before uploading your profile photo, get information about its size, format and other details.
- According to EPFO, these things are necessary for your profile photo.
- Photograph should be taken with digital camera.
- The photograph should be limited to the size of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm before uploading.
- The face (80% of the image) should be prominently visible in the photo and both the ears should be visible.
- Image should be in JPEG or JPG or PNG format.
