In a notification issued by the Reserve Bank of India on May 19, 2023, it was said that any person can deposit Rs 2000 note in his account from any branch. The old rule of depositing money in the bank account will continue to apply. Because of which there will be no limit to deposit 2000 rupee note.

It will be necessary to deposit money in the bank account

There is no limit to deposit money in the bank account. But if your KYC is not done, then there will be a problem in depositing 2000 rupee notes. Let us tell you, it has been clarified in the press release of RBI that Rs 2000 note can be exchanged from May 23 itself.
