It is very hot these days, which is breaking the record of the last nine years. The temperature remains high both during the day and night. The Meteorological Department has said that this time the monsoon may arrive late. According to senior meteorologist Dr. A. Satar, it will be hot from 12,13,14,15,16 June to 20 June and the monsoon may arrive by 20 June.
The reason for this is that the low pressure could not be formed in the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman region, which helps the monsoon to advance on time. Also, the warm air from northwestern India could not come, which pulls the monsoon. Therefore, the monsoon line remains in its place and it may take a few more days for rain to come in Bihar.
Monsoon activities have already started in some places, but rain is likely to start in the entire state only after June 20. If a new low pressure is formed in the Bay of Bengal in the next three to five days, then the monsoon will come early, otherwise farmers may have to wait for sowing paddy.
There may be light rain with thunder in some places in the coming two days. There will be light clouds in the sky in North Bihar and the weather will remain mostly dry. The temperature will be between 38-40 degrees Celsius and the night temperature will be around 25-26 degrees Celsius.
The effect of heat will be felt more due to high humidity in the air both during day and night. The humidity in the morning will be between 75 to 85 percent and in the afternoon it will be between 35 to 45 percent. The wind speed will be around 20 to 25 kilometers per hour.
