
HDFC Bank has informed its customers that system maintenance will be carried out from 11 pm on August 22 to 6 am on August 23. During this period, some services will remain down, but transactions will continue through net banking and mobile app.
If you are a customer of HDFC Bank, then there is important news for you. In fact, some of the bank’s services will be temporarily suspended. The bank has informed its customers about this through email. According to HDFC Bank, system upgrade and maintenance work will be carried out to improve banking services. This maintenance will run from 11 pm on 22 August 2025 to 6 am on 23 August 2025 (total 7 hours). During this period, customers will not be able to use some services.
The bank said that during this period, customer care services like phone banking IVR, email, social media support as well as WhatsApp chat banking and SMS banking will not be available. However, in case of any emergency, customers will be able to hotlist the account or card through the toll-free number.
During this time, customers will be able to conduct banking transactions through other digital services. These include –
- Phone Banking Agent Service
- HDFC Netbanking
- HDFC Mobile Banking App
- PayZapp
- MyCards
The bank said that this step is being taken to make services faster and safer. Along with this, customers have been requested for their cooperation and understanding.
How to register for HDFC NetBanking
If you want to use HDFC Bank net banking for the first time, follow these easy steps-
- Visit the official website www.hdfcbank.com .
- Now click on the Login button and select NetBanking.
- If you are a new user, click Register Now or First Time User.
- Here you will need to enter your Customer ID (which can be found in the welcome kit or bank statement) or account number.
- Fill in the details and enter your registered mobile number.
- An OTP will be sent to your mobile number or email.
- Verify your identity by entering OTP.
- Now create your IPIN (Internet Banking Password).
- Complete the registration by verifying the details. Now you can log in to NetBanking with your Customer ID and IPIN.
