Clearly, major money worries grew over the high test fees. Luckily, NTA answered this fear directly.
As a result, a new web page for bank details goes live on May 21, 2026. So, this setup helps the cash flow back fast. Also, the agency said students do not pay extra cash for the re-test.
Official NTA Notice: “Fees already paid will be refunded to the students, and the exam will be re-conducted using NTA’s internal resources.”
In addition, the group said students do not need a new form. Instead, old sign-up files and test city choices will carry over on their own. Therefore, no new files are needed, and no extra costs apply.
Can Students Change Test Language or City?

What To Do If You Faced Problems Earlier
But, students who faced bugs during the May 3 test must act. For this reason, the board wants them to email the NTA help desk. Moreover, make sure to send clear proof with your note.

NEET Paper Leak Probe Continues
Crucially, this news comes during a big police probe into the leak. So far, local cops have caught nine people. To note, these arrests happened in Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nashik, Pune, and Ahilyanagar.

Abhishek Singh Statement: “Whether it is somebody from inside or somebody from outside, CBI will do a complete fair inquiry and will identify anyone, whoever it may be – whether inside or outside, that doesn’t matter. Whosoever is guilty, whosoever has caused us to come to this situation will be identified, punished and sent to jail.”
In conclusion, lakhs of medical students are now hitting the books again. Thus, this big entry test remains under a giant spotlight. In short, both the June 21 re-test and the deep CBI cash probe face heavy public watch.
