Let us tell you that now if a person wants to update his Aadhaar card, he has to go to the Aadhaar center. Whether it is a change in name, address, date of birth or mobile number, a physical visit is required for every update.
The new rule will be implemented from November 2025
But from November 2025, this process will become completely digital. Users will only need an OTP (one-time password), through which they will be able to update their Aadhaar card details from home. E-Aadhaar app may be launched soon
According to a report by Hindi Money Control, UIDAI is also preparing to launch a new mobile app soon, which can be called E-Aadhaar. This will save people from having to visit Aadhaar centers to update Aadhaar.
