In the new oil rates released on Friday morning, prices are seen to have increased in many cities. So if you are also thinking of filling your tank today, then it is going to be expensive. However, no change has been made in the oil prices in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol has become costlier by 27 paise in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP and is being sold at Rs 95.14 per liter. Diesel has also increased by 30 paise and has reached Rs 88.35 per liter. In Ghaziabad, petrol has increased by 16 paise to reach Rs 94.51 per liter, while diesel has increased by 18 paise and is being sold at Rs 87.67 per liter. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol has increased by 27 paise to Rs 105.77 per liter, while diesel has become costlier by 26 paise and is being sold at Rs 91.85 per liter.
Talking about crude oil, its prices have also seen a slight increase in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has reached $ 69.37 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also increased to $ 66.23 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros
– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 103.44 and diesel is Rs 89.97 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.76 and diesel is Rs 92.35 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.95 and diesel is Rs 91.76 per liter
Rates have changed in these cities
– In Ghaziabad, petrol has become Rs 94.44 and diesel Rs 87.51 per liter.
– In Noida, petrol has become Rs 95.12 and diesel Rs 88.29 per liter.
– In Patna, petrol has become Rs 105.60 and diesel Rs 91.83 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am.
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
